About Us
On October 16, 2024, the Healthy Philippines Alliance revitalized its commitment to its core advocacy to prevent and control noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) and push for effective policies and programs through a Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony. During the event, the HPA Youth Network was formally introduced to encourage youth participation in health policy development and advocacy.
The HPA Youth Network has since been working to expand its membership through learning sessions and workshops with interested youth-led organizations all over the country to raise awareness on existing health policies and propose initiatives to address gaps from the youth perspective.
Our Agenda
The HPA Youth Network aims to empower and mobilize young people to become active participants in promoting health, preventing disease, and advancing health equity in their communities. By fostering youth leadership, building awareness on pressing health issues—such as noncommunicable diseases (NCDs), mental health, and access to nutritious food—and strengthening youth engagement in policy advocacy, the network seeks to create a generation that is informed, proactive, and committed to building a healthier, more resilient future for all.
